This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, endocrinologists, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to provide education on clinical and scientific evidence that aligns with strategic goals to enhance the treatment landscape.
• Provide insights on RNAi technology, hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
• Consolidate and convey clinical and scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
• Participate in and deliver presentations at scientific congresses and meetings to remain informed about the latest advancements and trends in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Address unsolicited inquiries in accordance with MSL compliance guidelines.
• Assist with company-sponsored clinical trials by engaging with investigator sites.
• Facilitate speaker training as needed and ensure speakers are informed about the latest disease and product data.
• Support national, regional, and local scientific congresses, including engagement with Opinion Leaders (OL), session coverage, booth activities, and company debriefs.
• Monitor and evaluate scientific publications, clinical trials, and the competitive landscape within the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Maintain expertise in clinical and scientific domains along with broad business acumen in the industry.
• Promote the MSL value proposition, exhibiting professionalism and tact while achieving results.
• Comply with company policies in all actions.
• Create territory-specific OL and account plans, which include OL profiles, pre-call strategies, and follow-up actions.
• Communicate clinical and scientific information clearly and accurately.
• Record MSL quantitative and qualitative achievements.
• Offer scientific support for Medical Information inquiries, ensuring precise and prompt responses to healthcare professionals' questions.
• Generate scientific content for medical education initiatives.
• Assist Medical Affairs with special projects and initiatives as required.
• Effective management of sophisticated cross-functional relationships is essential for success.
• BPharm/MPharm, MBBS or MD, or PhD degree (or equivalent).
• A minimum of five years of experience as an MSL.
• Experience in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of collaborating effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Ability to interpret significant scientific data and translate findings to fulfill educational and research requirements that influence corporate research strategies and decisions.
• Capability to identify unmet medical, educational, and research needs at local and regional levels within the medical community.
• Familiarity with the healthcare delivery system, including the managed care sector and its effects on patient care, regional medical services, and the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of research study design and execution, along with strategic implications.
• Proven success in achieving high-quality results as a strategic and innovative thinker.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and excel in a constantly evolving environment.
• Strong project management skills, demonstrated by the ability to oversee projects and/or colleagues to implement business-critical initiatives successfully.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel (both nationally and internationally) as required.
