This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Takes charge of meeting sales targets by executing marketing and sales strategies designed to effectively promote and sell the NN portfolio of products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their office teams through remote or virtual channels.
• Establishes and nurtures relationships with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, pharmacists, nurses, and other paramedical personnel as well as existing co-promotion partners.
• Adheres to the appropriate guidelines surrounding virtual call scripts and call continuum decision trees.
• Documents call notes, including discussed products, key issues and concerns addressed, sales aids used, samples distributed, and any other information to maximize the effectiveness of future sales calls.
• Schedules follow-up calls with customers based on call continuum strategies and customer engagement.
• Manages customer follow-up on inbound leads and actively develops leads and referrals.
• Leverages knowledge of the territory market, including current market conditions, competitive trends, priorities, and patient needs, to create and implement territory business plans.
• Executes strategies to gain virtual access and establish relevant business relationships with customers: prescribers and support staff, aiming to drive business impact by collaborating on patient clinical management and offering NNI-approved solutions.
• Fosters and maintains internal relationships by collaborating across various functions (e.g., Market Access, Educators, etc.) while proactively sharing relevant knowledge and business opportunities to benefit customers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and/or PharmD is required.
• Prior experience in retail, inside sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in computer skills is necessary (Windows, Word, Excel).
• Experience with sales data and call reporting software is ideal.
• Must be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently while exercising sound business judgment and discretion.
• Excellent customer service skills are a must.
• Strong oral communication abilities are essential.
• A solid understanding of diabetes and obesity disease states, as well as Novo Nordisk’s products, is required, along with the capacity to learn and convey technical and scientific information regarding products and disease management.
