📋 Description

• Leads regional educational and training initiatives while supporting national CRM programs, specifically: Training and educating both internal teams and external customers on CRM protocols, therapies/products, processes, and solutions.

• Continuously educates and assesses experienced field personnel.

• Oversees the coordination of new employee training, ensuring accountability to the hiring manager (DM or DSM).

• Possesses a deep understanding of competitive technologies and therapies, articulating the advantages of Medtronic devices effectively.

• Shares competitive insights with regional teams.

• Provides competitive training to field service and sales teams.

• Offers customized training and education regarding Medtronic products, competing products, clinical evidence, and the evolving marketplace to elevate the technical and sales proficiency of local sales and service teams, ensuring a top-tier organization.

• Conducts training on new products and procedures in the field, ensuring that all necessary technical and clinical evidence is communicated in a way that field teams can convey to customers.

• Cultivates relationships with current and prospective stakeholders by delivering strategic and innovative education to advocate for Medtronic products and therapies, emphasizing clinical value, and engaging with the Regional Economics Manager for discussions on economic value.

• Translates intricate technical messaging, clarifies competitive claims, addresses complex technical challenges, and maintains customer relationships through technical expertise.

• Understands, interprets, and contributes to the communication of product and procedural updates and necessary field corrective actions related to Medtronic products and therapies.

• Collaborates with the Clinical Research Organization concerning clinical studies and physician research.

• Intentionally partners with sales leadership to develop and implement strategic technical and clinical training that aligns with business objectives.

• Utilizes personal district and region-wide relationships and experiences to anticipate shifts in business conditions.

• Reacts to urgent or swiftly changing business demands and collaborates with sales teams to implement strategic solutions.

• Fosters and strengthens relationships across Medtronic to support collaborative solutions that leverage our distinctive sales and service teams.

• Establishes and maintains high-trust relationships based on technical expertise and clinical evidence with key customers throughout the region.

• Delivers expert service at key accounts to affirm and reinforce the value of Medtronic's technical proficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree PLUS at least 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or in sales/service/engineering within the Cardiac Rhythm or Implantable Medical Device Industry -OR- Advanced Degree in engineering or nursing.

• Degree in biomedical engineering or nursing.

• Experience in Cath Lab, EP Lab, hospital/clinic, or cardiology settings.

• Proven experience in teaching and educating medical personnel, peers, and technical support staff.

• Comprehensive working knowledge of cardiac medical terminology and the medical device sector.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across various organizational levels.

• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to coordinate and engage in multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and meeting deadlines.

• Strong work ethic dedicated to achieving the objectives of the role.

• Proficiency with Microsoft tools and other business applications (e.g., SalesForce.com).

• Ability to fulfill vendor credentialing requirements.

• IBHRE certification (mandatory at Sr and Principal levels).
