This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Development of Operational Strategy: Collaborate with the management team, payment processors, key vendors, and sponsor banks to create and execute vital operational processes that facilitate product scaling.
• Management of Card Operations: Oversee all facets of card operations, including customer onboarding, card printing and fulfillment, payment processing, customer relations, fraud management, chargebacks, collections, and account upkeep.
• Communication with Stakeholders: Effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
• Excellence in Operations: Supervise all operational processes, guarantee the creation and upkeep of standard operating procedures, and lead quality initiatives throughout the customer lifecycle to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Management of Risk and Compliance: Collaborate closely with our Compliance team to build a robust operational controls framework that addresses financial and operational risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Vendor Oversight: Manage third-party vendors to ensure they fulfill all commitments, service level agreements (SLAs), and quality expectations, continually working with them to enhance delivery standards.
• Support for Product Development: Aid in the creation and launch of new products, ensuring operational alignment with the company's objectives.
• Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain operational and financial reports to provide comprehensive visibility and facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Proven Leadership: Significant experience in managing card operations within the financial services or fintech sectors.
• Knowledge of Web3: Familiarity with Web3 through personal interest, usage, or professional experience.
• Strategic Mindset: Expertise in formulating and executing thorough operational strategies.
• Strong Communicator: Exceptional skill in engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
