This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Generate institutional borrowing demand across collateralized lending, trading, and hedging strategies, structured credit, and liquidity products — targeting prime brokerages, trading firms, and asset-backed lending partners.
• Develop a pipeline of borrowers across three categories: (1) unique-market-access counterparties (e.g. RWAs); (2) committed-supply-at-scale borrowers (market makers, OTC desks, trading desks); (3) KYC-gated counterparties (regulated borrowers who cannot legally engage with open pools).
• Structure and finalize term sheets — negotiate terms such as rate, duration, size, and collateral; facilitate KYC, gating, and onboarding processes until completion.
• Manage the portfolio you originate. Long-term relationship maintenance, renewal, and expansion responsibilities lie with Capital Markets.
• Operationalize and document the inaugural on-chain borrowing products (beginning with our current pilot) to ensure the process can be replicated as deal volume increases, while managing incoming interest as we execute additional deals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Credit Risk, Strategy & Growth, Product, and Engineering to integrate operations.
• Provide input on credit terms guidance (what we offer, minimum rate, maximum term) in collaboration with Credit Risk.
• 2–6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, or Capital Markets at a prominent sell-side institution. Sell-side experience is preferred, although outstanding buy-side candidates will also be considered.
• Direct involvement in financing transactions, debt raises, warehouse facilities, asset-backed financing, structured credit, or other capital-markets products.
• Strong foundation in credit and leveraged finance: familiarity with collateralization, liquidity, leverage, covenants, counterparty risk, and funding costs.
• Experience with transaction execution: financial analysis, credit assessment, due diligence, term-sheet negotiation, documentation, syndication, and deal closure.
• Proven experience managing institutional client relationships (corporates, financial institutions, asset managers, market makers, trading firms, funds).
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Remote first - work from anywhere in the US & CAN!
• Regular in-person company retreats and cross-country "office visit" perk.
• 100% paid medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees.
• $1,000 WFH stipend.
• Monthly reimbursement for home internet, phone, and cellular data.
• Unlimited vacation.
• 100% paid parental leave of 12 weeks.
• Fertility benefits.
• Opportunity for incentive compensation.
