This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Monitor both internally and externally sourced capital deployment prospects.
• Assist in financing opportunities generated externally, which includes engaging with opportunity representatives, processing NDAs, acquiring necessary financial and other documentation, and performing initial due diligence.
• Offer project management assistance as opportunities progress through the capital placement stages, encompassing application, underwriting, securing loan/investment committee approval, state guarantee (if applicable), and deal closure.
• Serve as a primary contact for borrowers, the EO technical assistance team, other lenders, underwriters, legal support, and additional stakeholders to ensure that process and approval timelines are adhered to.
• Manage internal and external fund operations meeting schedules and communications, including preparation and tracking of materials.
• Spearhead quarterly and annual financial and impact reporting for investors.
• Create internal deal-specific and portfolio summary documents to aid in internal decision-making processes.
• Oversee online document management for the Employee Ownership Catalyst Fund and individual fund transactions.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience; MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in roles that support the execution of loans within a loan fund, CDFI, or banking environment.
• Understanding of commercial lending procedures and standard lending terms.
• Experience or familiarity with impact investing, particularly how loan and investment evaluations might differ when considering social or environmental objectives alongside financial returns.
• Strong project management skills are essential.
