Cantonese Consecutive Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews, and other events.

• Attentively listen to the speaker in the source language and accurately communicate the message in the target language.

• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the interpretation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation.

• Fluency in at least two languages (source and target languages).

• Evidence of English language proficiency with a 'technical proficiency' on the national ILR rating or an equivalent standard.

• Successful completion of a Mock Call assessment with a passing score.

• An updated resume that highlights relevant interpretation experience.

• A criminal background check conducted in English.

• Technical setup to facilitate interpretation tasks (including a headset, stable internet, and a laptop).
