This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Guide candidates through the onboarding process starting from the official offer until the commencement of in-person training.
• Act as the main point of contact for new hires, addressing their inquiries and providing timely updates.
• Assist candidates in completing hiring documents, background checks, and compliance requirements.
• Arrange training schedules for candidates, whether remote, onsite, or hybrid.
• Prepare candidates for their initial day of training at the designated location.
• Monitor candidate progress and ensure accurate information is maintained in the Applicant Tracking System and other company platforms.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR, Employment Standards, Training, Safety, and Operations to address onboarding challenges and avoid delays.
• Coordinate with training teams and location leaders regarding candidate schedules and their preparedness.
• Proactively follow up with candidates to sustain engagement.
• Track onboarding completion, training readiness, time-to-hire, and various key performance indicators.
• Identify bottlenecks and potential delays, taking necessary actions to keep candidates advancing.
• Contribute to process enhancements that boost onboarding efficiency and elevate the candidate experience.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, recruiting, onboarding, Human Resources, or a related field is essential.
• Experience in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment is required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities are necessary.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are imperative.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are crucial.
• Capability to manage multiple candidates, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously is important.
• A strong sense of urgency and the ability to follow through are required.
• Comfort with Applicant Tracking Systems, CRM platforms, or similar systems is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across the organization is important.
• Proficiency in using standard office equipment is needed.
• English proficiency is required.
• Occasional travel to company locations may be necessary for meetings, training, or other business needs.
• $33.00/hr
