Candidate Engagement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Utilize targeted marketing and outreach techniques to engage with qualified candidates.

• Emphasize competitive salary, benefits, diversity of assignments, company reputation, and extensive support to attract candidates.

• Assess experience, education, current licensure, and active certifications.

• Create a database of pre-qualified candidates for various regions across different school year periods.

• Utilize Symplr CTM and Bullhorn tools to cultivate relationships with prospective candidates.

• Leverage external database platforms to discover and interact with potential leads.

• Collaborate closely with Recruiters and Account Managers to understand school and state requirements.

• Ensure candidates fulfill specialty skills and licensure requirements in a timely manner.

• Monitor handoffs.

• Conduct follow-ups within 60 minutes.

• Create necessary files.

• Complete work history with any gaps accounted for.

• Fill out SPIN Call documentation.

• Gather references.

• Verify education credentials.

• Upload certifications (if applicable).

• Establish date of availability.

• Confirm caseload preferences.

• Finalize travel or local assignment details.

• Hand off to Recruiter.

• Transition to Support Team for round-robin distribution.

• Make alignments based on region/modality.

• Complete hot handoff sheet in its entirety.

• Set follow-up tasks for scheduled calls aligned with the receiving Recruiter.

• Track engagement on a daily basis for leadership reporting.

• Conduct weekly tracking on submissions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of sourcing/recruiting experience, with 2+ years being preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of office experience.

• Proficient in computer and technological skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and recruitment software/tools.

• High school diploma or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
