Campus Staff Minister, Community Colleges

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Foster a dynamic relationship with the triune God through active engagement with Scripture, prayer, and worship, both individually and in community settings.

• Expand the number of witnessing communities while enhancing the size, health, spiritual maturity, and campus-wide impact of existing student and faculty witnessing communities.

• Effectively communicate and exemplify InterVarsity’s vision of transforming students and faculty, renewing campuses, and cultivating world changers.

• Design, develop, align, and utilize ministry plans, programs, teams, and structures to bridge the gap between current realities and aspirational objectives.

• Encourage students and faculty to engage their relational networks with the gospel and initiate new missional communities.

• Purposefully gather, invite, and cultivate diverse groups of students and faculty to not only encounter and follow Jesus as their Savior and Lord but also to actively participate and lead in advancing the mission on campus.

• Collaborate with and positively respond to the guidance and coaching provided by your supervisors and national leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.

• An Associate’s degree is the minimum requirement for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or community college.

• Strong interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty members.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.
