Campus Ambassador

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Organizing one fundraising event each semester

• Coordinating two awareness events per semester

• Delivering presentations three times per semester in classes, sororities/fraternities/clubs, campus ministries, faculty groups, etc.

• Promoting events through social media and campus communication channels

• Consulting and engaging with Water for Good staff throughout the program

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong passion for Water for Good’s mission of enhancing lives through sustainable access to safe water, as well as improved sanitation and hygiene in communities that need it most

• Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at a college or university in Northwest Arkansas during the ambassador term

• Minimum GPA of 2.0

• Availability to attend required training sessions at the beginning of each semester

• Ability to maintain reliable and professional communication with the organization and supervisor

• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities

• Commitment to the expected time requirement: 2-4 hours per week

• Established connections with student organizations, campus ministries, or major programs

• Previous leadership experience (such as club officer, ministry leader, resident assistant, or student government) is preferred

• Experience in event planning is preferred

• Skills in social media or marketing are preferred

• Volunteer and fundraising experience is preferred

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and on a computer is a physical requirement

• Must be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally is a physical requirement
