This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Develop and implement campaign strategies that enhance awareness and facilitate behavioral changes among stakeholders and business audiences β covering all stages from initial planning to execution and assessment.
β’ Oversee campaign schedules and outputs, collaborating with research, engagement, and communications teams to ensure timely and organized activities.
β’ Create and review campaign materials across various formats and platforms β tailoring tone and complexity to suit each audience.
β’ Monitor and assess campaign effectiveness, extracting insights to continually refine our methodologies.
β’ Cultivate and maintain collaborations with external partners to enhance the visibility and impact of our campaigns.
β’ Lead and support media relations efforts: fostering journalist relationships, composing press releases, addressing inquiries, and proactively proposing stories that further our advocacy objectives.
β’ Collaborate closely with the Planet Programme team to present research findings, benchmarks, and assessments to external audiences β ensuring that technical results are communicated as clear and compelling narratives.
β’ React swiftly to dynamic developments in the climate and corporate accountability sectors, adjusting plans and identifying media opportunities promptly.
β’ Advocate for the cohesive application of our brand, messaging, and tone across all external communications.
β’ Four to six years of experience managing multi-channel, multi-stakeholder campaigns β preferably in a climate, sustainability, or corporate accountability context.
β’ A robust understanding of the private sector's influence on climate and nature outcomes, along with the necessary strategies to alter corporate behavior.
β’ Demonstrated ability and expertise in developing and executing advocacy and behavior change campaigns, from strategic planning to implementation and evaluation.
β’ A proactive individual who excels at building engaging relationships.
β’ Exceptional project management and communication abilities: organized, dependable, articulate, and capable of handling multiple deadlines.
β’ Prior experience in media relations and coordination, or demonstrated aptitude for learning in this area.
β’ Familiarity with tools such as Canva and campaign analytics platforms is an advantage.
β’ Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
