This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Oversee the paid search strategy for a portfolio of commerce-focused clients using Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, ensuring that Shopping, Performance Max, and standard search operate cohesively.
β’ Approach feed optimization as a fundamental practice by auditing, restructuring, and persistently enhancing product feeds (including titles, attributes, GTINs, custom labels, and supplemental feeds) to maximize reach, relevance, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
β’ Design campaign and feed segmentation strategies that empower buyers within a landscape increasingly dominated by automation and AI-driven solutions.
β’ Collaborate with clients and internal teams to enhance the entire shopping experience, including landing pages, product detail page (PDP) quality, merchant feed health, promotions, and conversion tracking, ensuring that media investments lead to effective conversions.
β’ Establish the measurement framework, focusing on ROAS, new customer acquisition, margin-aware bidding, incrementality, and performance diagnostics at the feed level.
β’ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of search and feed specialists, enhancing quality assurance, best practices, and documentation standards.
β’ Stay informed about platform developments such as the evolution of Performance Max, AI Max, retail media integrations, and the transition towards signal and feed-driven purchasing, translating these into actionable client roadmaps.
β’ Serve as a senior point of contact for clients: articulate strategy, substantiate recommendations with data, and cultivate trust.
β’ Over 7 years of experience in paid search and performance media, with substantial, proven expertise in Shopping and feed-driven campaigns involving significant budgets.
β’ Deep understanding of feeds β direct experience with Merchant Center, feed management tools (e.g., Feedonomics, Versafeed, Productsup, or similar), and knowledge of how feed structure impacts auction results.
β’ Proficient in Google Ads (Shopping, Performance Max, search) and ideally familiar with Microsoft Advertising and retail media platforms.
β’ A commerce-oriented mindset, comfortable with concepts such as margin, average order value (AOV), lifetime value (LTV), and understanding how feeds connect to storefronts.
β’ Proven experience in leading teams and managing client relationships at a senior level, preferably within an agency or managed service environment.
β’ Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey complex feed and search strategies to non-specialist stakeholders effectively.
