This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
• You will conduct research, conceptualize, develop, and implement campaigns focused on various national and global issues, optimizing the use of our members' time and donations.
• You will observe both local and international events to pinpoint opportunities for impactful and timely campaigns.
• You will collaborate with experts to aid in the creation of a robust strategy, policy, and messaging framework.
• You will draft, proofread, and edit campaign emails along with other marketing communications.
• You will draft, proofread, and edit prompts for Artificial Intelligence to generate and improve emails, communications, and various written materials.
• You will seek and identify relevant, issue-specific materials from the press, NGOs, and other credible sources.
• You will communicate with CitizenGO’s supporters in your country to update them on new campaigns and the outcomes of ongoing efforts.
• You will suggest offline actions, which may include ad purchases, public petition deliveries, and other campaign-related activities.
• You will coordinate materials in your country’s language, including briefings for the Campaigns team, press releases, and research documents.
• You will participate in public speaking and media engagements as required.
• You will build and enhance connections with influencers, journalists, and activists via social media to broaden the reach of our campaigns.
• You will translate CitizenGO’s global campaigns and emails from English into your country’s language, if applicable.
• You will manage correspondence and consultation processes with members, including polling and feedback initiatives.
• You will contribute to shaping the overall strategic direction of the organization and, when necessary, assist with additional tasks such as recruitment, team building, management, and special projects.
• You will form coalitions with like-minded organizations to bolster mobilization and confrontational politics central to CitizenGO’s model.
• You will propose, assist, and advise Media Campaigners on offline events and campaign-related performances, taking ownership of offline actions when logistical needs arise.
• You will review, manage, and support petitions submitted by members on the CitizenGO Petitions website.
• You will oversee the functionality and language accuracy of the CitizenGO website, addressing typos and grammatical errors.
• You will mentor and support your Campaign Associate, if applicable, organize strategies for your list, and work collaboratively to enhance growth, engagement, and brand visibility.
• You are located in Austria (or near the Austrian border) and are a native German speaker.
• You are available to travel for offline events once a month.
• You possess at least a B2-level proficiency in English (Duolingo English Test required for non-natives, with a minimum score of 100).
• Proficiency in Spanish and other languages is beneficial.
• You exhibit enthusiasm and a broad experience with software tools, along with a proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• You have strong strategic, creative, and innovative thinking abilities, with the capability to analyze socio-political scenarios, develop complex ideas, and articulate them clearly.
• You possess a solid understanding of civic advocacy, citizen mobilization, and grassroots campaigning.
• You are passionate about and deeply committed to defending life, family, and freedom.
• You demonstrate a high level of professionalism, self-motivation, efficiency, and results-oriented delivery, even under tight deadlines.
• You have excellent teamwork skills and thrive in a highly collaborative team culture within a hierarchical structure.
• You possess strong project and staff management capabilities.
• You can quickly adapt to changing conditions and requirements.
• You are willing and able to work independently on various tasks and projects, prioritizing them effectively.
• You are proactive, take the initiative to accomplish tasks, and contribute valuable projects and proposals that benefit the entire organization.
• You have strong user-level computer skills; experience with Google Workspace is preferred, and proficiency in CRMs and project management tools is a plus.
• You have a flexible schedule and can work under tight deadlines, including availability for evening and weekend work and occasional travel as needed.
• Previous experience in copywriting and producing marketing content is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in utilizing Artificial Intelligence tools to create emails, communications, and other written materials is also considered an asset.
