This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide assistance by managing inbound calls.
• Confirm the identity of callers and patients in alignment with client-approved authentication procedures before discussing any account or refund-related information.
• Aid callers in comprehending the purpose of the refund initiative, the current status of their refund, and the subsequent steps based on client-approved workflows.
• Address patient inquiries using sanctioned scripts, workflows, and escalation protocols.
• Precisely document all call interactions within client-designated systems, adhering to training and documentation standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a call center, healthcare, or revenue cycle setting.
• Capability to manage inbound calls in a professional and efficient manner within a high-volume call center environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the capacity to clearly articulate billing and refund-related information to patients.
• Ability to adhere to structured scripts, workflows, and escalation protocols with a high level of accuracy.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and the capacity to accurately document interactions in designated systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with client-approved authentication and data privacy standards.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with navigating multiple systems concurrently.
