This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manages incoming calls from patients associated with private medical practices, managed care organizations, and military treatment facilities.
• Responds to patient inquiries, providing medical advice and addressing questions received through inbound calls.
• Organizes incoming calls into a call queue, allowing registered nurses to select and make outbound calls to assist patients with their medical questions, requests, and inquiries.
• Occasionally makes outbound calls to schedule appointments and collect survey data.
• Must have open availability from Monday to Sunday, specifically between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m.
• Previous experience interacting with the public is essential.
• A background in a medical call center is advantageous.
• Possesses excellent communication skills, including verbal proficiency and proper grammar.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities are essential.
• Technical expertise in relevant computer applications is necessary.
• Capable of responding effectively and calmly during emergency situations.
• Must uphold customer confidentiality at all times.
