This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Prepare and assess transactional and corporate documentation, such as contracts, independent contractor agreements, and materials for entity formation, to support the firm’s clientele.
• Offer transactional and contract assistance on California-related matters, utilizing California-specific regulations as necessary.
• Evaluate and negotiate contract provisions on behalf of clients or established practices hiring new personnel.
• Assist the firm’s attorneys with daily business and corporate structuring issues for small to mid-sized healthcare practices and management services organizations.
• Produce clear, precise, client-ready deliverables within agreed timelines.
• Participate actively in continuing education related to the firm’s transactional and corporate practice.
• Must be actively barred in California, with a minimum of four years of experience as a licensed attorney.
• Must reside in Illinois.
• Proficient in the drafting and negotiation of contracts.
• Experienced in regulatory and transactional work (excluding litigation), with a solid background in transactional, corporate, or contract law.
• Highly detail-oriented and capable of delivering flawless work to clients under tight deadlines.
• Skilled in communicating complex topics clearly and effectively to both clients and colleagues.
• Personable and well-suited for a collaborative, non-competitive work environment.
• Capable of working independently and managing a part-time workload with minimal supervision.
