Cabinet Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop "plug and play" Mozaik projects and produce CNC-ready manufacturing files that seamlessly integrate into production workflows without any modifications.

• Actively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve structural or construction issues digitally prior to the commencement of manufacturing.

• Design and organize layout projects in Mozaik specifically aimed at minimizing production bottlenecks and enhancing CNC machining efficiency.

• Effectively translate cabinet components, joinery methods, hardware specifications, machining processes, and final assemblies into precise manufacturing files.

• Create cabinet layouts that are both visually appealing and practical for manufacturing, consistently considering real-world manufacturing constraints and installation needs.

• Implement best practices for generating clean, organized, and highly efficient manufacturing and nested files for the production team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of focused, hands-on experience utilizing Mozaik software to structure projects for direct CNC processing is essential.

• A comprehensive and thorough understanding of the physical construction, assembly, machining, and installation of cabinets.

• Previous experience in custom cabinetry workshops, cabinet manufacturing facilities, millwork companies, woodworking production, or CNC programming environments.

• Experience with US-based clients is highly desirable.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.

• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills for effective collaboration with international clients and production teams.

• A Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical diplomas/certifications in Engineering, Woodworking Technology, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
