This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

• Oversee core system components and spearhead optimization initiatives aimed at enhancing performance and speed.

• Collaborate closely with logging, monitoring, and telemetry features to enhance error handling and system visibility.

• Develop software primarily using Golang and C, while also maintaining and gradually phasing out legacy Bash scripts.

• Create automated tests in Python to address regressions and fill coverage gaps.

• Investigate intricate bugs, monitor system calls, and analyze multithreaded dependencies within the codebase.

• Participate in technical discussions with the team to determine the best strategies for implementing requirements.

• Hacker mindset: A high degree of patience combined with a strong aptitude for analyzing multi-threaded code and complex system dependencies.

• Strong C proficiency: Extensive practical experience with C as your primary development language, including low-level debugging capabilities.

• Build system expertise: Practical, hands-on experience with Bazel.

• Python skills: Proficiency in Python for test automation purposes.

• Advanced debugging: Exceptional analytical skills along with experience in GDB, ltrace, and pprof.

• Language skills: Proficient in English, at least at a B2 level, to facilitate smooth team communication.
