C++ Embedded Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain high-quality embedded software in C++ for security devices that utilize camera technology.

• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate software, hardware, and network connectivity challenges throughout the software stack.

• Innovate new features and enhance current codebases for the product range.

• Enhance software efficiency for embedded environments with resource limitations.

• Perform code reviews and offer technical guidance to team members.

• Engage in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making processes.

• Work together with QA teams to formulate thorough testing strategies.

• Record software designs, APIs, libraries, and troubleshooting procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in embedded development, with a strong command of C++ (C++17 standard) and extensive knowledge of RTOS and microcontroller architectures (ARM, RISC-V).

• Proficient in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including professional engineering practices such as Git, CMake, code reviews, and continuous integration.

• Strong grasp of network programming and experience with multithreading on multicore microcontrollers.

• Expertise in communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, and Wi-Fi) and experience in writing device drivers and libraries.

• Ability to operate independently and take charge of complex projects.

• Outstanding communication skills for technical discussions and documentation, with a collaborative approach in cross-functional team settings.

• At least an Intermediate proficiency in both written and spoken English (B1).
