C# Developer, ASP.NET (Mid-level)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.

📋 Description

• Engage in the creation and upkeep of web applications utilizing ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and associated technologies.

• Execute and refine solutions using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JSON, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

• Design and manage SQL Server databases, which includes the development and optimization of triggers and stored procedures, along with the application of normalization principles.

• Integrate and utilize SOAP and REST web services within the applications being developed.

• Oversee change control processes in software development to maintain project stability and facilitate continuous improvement.

• Identify coding issues and suggest enhancements and opportunities for refactoring.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure that solutions align with business objectives and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies, quality assurance practices, and software maturity levels.

• Expertise in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, JSON, and Bootstrap, encompassing syntax and performance aspects.

• Experience with Web JS, jQuery, Ajax, WebForms, Bootstrap, HTML, JSON, and CSS.

• Proficiency with SQL Server, including normalization, triggers, and stored procedures.

• Understanding of SOAP and REST web services.

• Strong analytical abilities to identify problems and propose viable solutions.

• Proactive approach and effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.

• Previous experience in the insurance brokerage sector is advantageous.
