This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Acquire both traditional and non-traditional supplies and services to support the Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) Division.
• Collaborate with Program Management, customers, suppliers, engineers, and various internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze and manage risks, product costs, quality, and delivery timelines in alignment with corporate and program goals.
• Ensure that procurement activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Execute source selections and procurements that meet schedule, cost, and quality criteria.
• Develop and propose secondary or additional sourcing options.
• Review and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Select and sustain supply sources utilizing advanced purchasing techniques.
• Assess source justifications, commercial item determinations, and associated compliance documents.
• Review, monitor, and process purchase requests with appropriate payment terms.
• Address delivery, quality, and pricing issues with vendors.
• Accurately enter and update orders in Costpoint.
• Track outstanding lead times and schedules.
• Conduct routine purchase order reconciliation.
• Identify future procurement requirements and new supplier sources.
• Inform suppliers of rejections and costs related to defective materials.
• Expedite deliveries and secure approvals for alternative procurement methods as necessary.
• Assist in Planning, Shipping & Receiving, and Inventory operations.
• Maintain precise procurement records.
• Carry out supplier evaluations.
• Address discrepant materials both internally and with suppliers.
• Review and refresh supply chain metrics reports.
• Ensure procurements are delivered to customer locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field with 2-4 years of progressive experience in procurement for federal contracts, or a High School Diploma with 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with CPSR compliance and audit support.
• Proficient in Costpoint 8.0 Procurement Planning, Purchasing, and Material Management Modules.
• Knowledge of DoD procurement and familiarity with FAR / DFAR procurement regulations.
• Understanding of parts, materials, and process requirements specific to aerospace and defense applications.
• Experience in sourcing from foreign suppliers and handling procurements involving ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Skilled in placing both foreign and domestic POs/Subcontracts of high complexity and managing high volume POs across diverse business units.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cross-functional responsibilities (Accounting, Contracts, Program Management) essential for effective supply chain management.
• Experience in supplier negotiations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Capability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, security investigation, and drug screening.
