This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise daily purchasing operations, which include placing purchase orders, ensuring timely product delivery, and processing invoice payments.

• Handle exceptions and collaborate with suppliers to address any discrepancies related to invoices or deliveries.

• Generate purchase orders based on requisition requests.

• Coordinate periodic requests for quotes (RFQ) from relevant suppliers and manage the company's item portfolio.

• Analyze inventory and purchasing data to assist in sourcing requirements.

• Identify and implement plans for cost and payment-term enhancements with suppliers.

• Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, product specifications, and maintain supplier scorecards.

• Support contract negotiations and solicit quotes to achieve competitive pricing.

• Work together with suppliers and internal teams to uphold quality and delivery standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of purchasing experience in a related sector.

• Ability to effectively contribute as a team member on projects and interact with representatives from various departments.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess metrics, volumes, trends, and financial data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Robust problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of G-Suite, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel.

• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or a comparable ERP system.
