This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborates closely with the Director of Procurement to provide assistance to the procurement department.
• Manages the distribution and execution of NDCA’s agreements with new suppliers.
• Provides support for data entry in Viewpoint.
• Engages in project conference calls and supplier meetings.
• Sends out RFQs to suppliers and monitors their progress.
• Prepares Purchase Orders for Major Equipment.
• Creates Change Orders for Major Equipment and Subcontractors.
• Oversees and supports all elements of the procurement process following order execution.
• An Associate's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Capability to lead and coordinate personal and team actions while managing time effectively.
• Excellent coordination, time management, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, along with critical thinking and reasoning abilities.
• Self-driven and capable of learning swiftly and independently.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in Excel and MS Office.
