
Business Unit Director – Server Racks & Networking Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the overall strategy, execution, and financial outcomes for server rack and networking rack programs, including integrated rack solutions tailored for hyperscale and enterprise clients.
• Establish a growth roadmap encompassing rack integration, mechanical assemblies, and comprehensive system solutions in alignment with data center market needs.
• Assume complete P&L responsibility, focusing on revenue growth, margin enhancement, pricing strategy, cost efficiency, and accuracy in forecasting.
• Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with hyperscale, cloud, and networking clients.
• Serve as the primary commercial leader for major accounts, ensuring coordination on roadmaps, delivery, and value generation.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure high-quality rack manufacturing and integration (including sheet metal, assembly, cable management, and thermal solutions).
• Spearhead new program launches, customer onboarding, and the development of new rack designs and configurations.
• Monitor industry trends related to data center infrastructure, racks, networking hardware, and AI/compute platforms.
• Promote enhancements in cycle time, inventory turnover, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Report business performance, risks, and strategies in internal leadership reviews and customer meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 10–12+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing, EMS, or data center infrastructure.
• Extensive experience in the manufacturing of server racks, networking racks, chassis, or mechanical assemblies.
• Proven success in P&L management, pricing strategy, and margin oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer-facing programs in a global manufacturing context.
• Strong commercial insight, including expertise in contract negotiation and business development.
• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical manufacturing (sheet metal, fabrication, assembly), rack integration, and system-level builds, as well as supply chain and sourcing strategies.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
