Business Travel Consultant, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional travel assistance through chat, phone calls, and emails.

• Keep abreast of the latest information regarding suppliers, destinations, and systems.

• Efficiently evaluate customer requirements, urgency, and preferences.

• Precisely manage bookings for hotels, flights, cars, and rail services.

• Assist customers in utilizing self-service features on the Navan platform and app.

• Respond swiftly to inquiries, ensuring adherence to SLA expectations.

• Comply with company and customer policies to maintain global standards.

• Provide insights to stakeholders regarding goal achievements and essential processes.

• Engage in team meetings focused on products, suppliers, and updates in the industry.

• Keep up with best practices in the travel industry.

• Maintain consistent attendance, complete required training, and achieve performance targets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: Over 5 years as a Travel Consultant specializing in air, rail, and hotel bookings; a minimum of 3 years utilizing GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) – both are essential.

• Language: Fluency in both English and German is required.

• Customer Service: Experience in contact center or customer-oriented roles.

• Tech Skills: Proficient with tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.

• Availability: Willing to work flexible rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, between 7 AM and 11 PM.

• Skills: Capable of multitasking, rapidly addressing urgent issues, and independently troubleshooting problems.

• Attitude: Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
