Business Systems Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the chief technical authority for Microsoft D365, responsible for overall system design, integrations, and architectural decisions.

• Provide guidance to the Technical Delivery Lead on platform-level technical decisions, associated risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Lead and enforce peer code reviews and technical design evaluations for solutions developed internally and by contractors.

• Engage in hands-on development for complex, high-risk, or time-sensitive D365FO changes.

• Review and authorize D365 X++ customizations, extensions, integrations, and data entities.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs.

• Manage and oversee D365FO DevOps pipelines, branching strategies, builds, releases, and environment synchronization.

• Lead the internal escalation process for D365 production issues.

• Provide technical governance and oversight for outsourced development partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required (or equivalent experience) along with 7+ years of ERP experience.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a real enterprise setting.

• Familiarity with D365 Finance & Operations architecture and development processes.

• Experience with designing and governing Microsoft Dynamics 365 cloud solution architecture.

• A strong technical background as a developer (in-depth knowledge of SDLC, release management, and change governance) with the capability to think and operate like a system architect.

• Experience in reviewing and assessing development work produced by others.

• Comfortable taking on the role of technical owner during high-impact incidents.
