This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Conducts analysis and interpretation of client needs in relation to the current software systems developed by our client.
• Performs gap analyses to compare new requirements with existing functionalities.
• Develops comprehensive use cases.
• Aids in managing client delivery and release timelines for projects, changes, service requests, and mandatory releases in accordance with clients’ SLAs.
• Takes charge of the overall progress of assigned tasks, ensuring strict compliance with SLA and quality standards.
• Serves as a primary contact point (via email, teleconferencing, and on-site workshops) for clients to understand, gather, and analyze their business requirements.
• Documents high-level test cases to ensure the QA team has the necessary information to prepare functional and regression test cases along with viable acceptance criteria.
• Participates in the review of detailed test cases with the QA team to ensure alignment with client requirements and represents end-users during the UAT phase.
• Generates actionable specifications that lead to applicable acceptance criteria and High-Level Test Cases derived from client requirements.
• Provides Knowledge Transfer sessions.
• Capable of functioning under pressure to meet agreed SLAs while maintaining acceptable quality standards.
• Collaborates with Project Definition, Change Management, and Technical teams to ensure adherence to client business requirements and agreed specifications.
• Assists technical teams in creating optimal use cases and database designs.
• Delivers releases to clients and offers support during the implementation phase.
• Engages in onsite support or training as requested by clients.
• Works closely with clients and colleagues to facilitate the migration of data to and from the software systems.
• Provides 2nd line support for clients and the support team in accordance with applicable SLAs.
• Participates in the 24x7 shift to offer 2nd line support to clients when necessary.
• Coordinates with the Quality Assurance Team to conduct audits, recommend corrective actions as needed, and monitor the implementation of corrective measures.
• Regularly maintains status reports for all tasks.
• Establishes strong working relationships with customers and peers.
• Undertakes any additional duties that may be assigned periodically.
• Advanced diploma in ICT / Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics or Software Development / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems / Degree in Business with IT - a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Extensive experience in business requirements gathering, definition, and system configuration and design.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and an understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong documentation skills are essential.
• Proficiency in SQL Language is required.
• Ability to facilitate both remote and in-person client meetings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Must be self-sufficient within a team that is dedicated to delivering quality outcomes.
• Preferably possesses a good understanding of the payments industry.
• Familiarity with user stories or use cases is preferred.
