This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements to enterprise software.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, interviews, and demonstrations with functional users and technical teams.
• Create and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow diagrams, and process models.
• Evaluate existing business processes and suggest improvements to boost operational efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
• Assist with backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Act as a liaison between government clients, software development teams, quality assurance staff, and system architects.
• Carry out impact analyses for proposed enhancements and system modifications.
• Validate requirements throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure that delivered functionalities meet business goals.
• Help with User Acceptance Testing, defect triage, and production readiness tasks.
• Support configuration management and requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop documentation for business processes, operational procedures, and end-user training materials.
• Participate in production support activities by examining functional issues and coordinating resolutions with technical teams.
• Assist in system demonstrations, customer briefings, and milestone reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in business systems analysis for enterprise software systems.
• A minimum of 5 years supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs.
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Skilled in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, business process flows, and functional specifications.
• Experience in supporting Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and/or SAFe.
• Ability to facilitate meetings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile lifecycle management tools.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience in supporting Navy maintenance, logistics, or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Naval Shipyard maintenance processes.
• Experience with SAP-based solutions.
• Background in supporting software modernization initiatives.
• Understanding of BPMN, UML, or Visio.
• Experience in supporting User Acceptance Testing and production deployments.
• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Experience working in DevSecOps environments.
• CSPO, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner, or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification.
