This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assess business challenges and formulate automated solutions, processes, and procedures.
• Identify, analyze, and develop cost-efficient systems and processes that fulfill user and system requirements.
• Generate functional specifications for business systems.
• Configure system settings and options as necessary.
• Plan and conduct unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Oversee integrations, documentation, and post-production support for Workday Financials, Payroll, and HCM.
• Review Level I and II design proposals, offering feedback, recommendations, and guidance.
• Ensure that application systems are in line with user needs, objectives, processes, and business strategies.
• Consult on complex projects and assist in enhancing departmental delivery policies and procedures.
• Provide subject-matter expertise and project leadership to other BSA resources.
• Document and review detailed functional requirements with Business Owners, DEV, and QA.
• Facilitate the resolution of design issues and challenges to enable development and project delivery.
• Lead solutions to ensure implementations align with business requirements.
• Develop systems implementation strategies in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
• Engage in change-management activities for the user community.
• Identify work-package tasks, effort levels, and dependencies.
• Evaluate and identify change-management impacts.
• Create and manage milestones throughout the development lifecycle.
• Guide the implementation of new business processes that support system changes.
• Ensure integrated system and production support.
• Supervise and direct Level I–II Business Systems Analysts and Business Partners regarding application and production issues.
• Conduct training sessions, facilitate meetings, gather information, and present status updates.
• Design business solutions for new processes and practices.
• AA or certification degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a business functional area.
• In-depth expertise in Workday integration practices.
• Strong understanding of upstream and downstream system dependencies.
• 5+ years of experience with Business Applications.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of security administration.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Comprehensive experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Java/.Net.
• SMLE level of business acumen across multiple functional areas.
• Capability to document process and data flows.
• Extensive knowledge of various enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with system development and project management methodologies, including Object-Oriented and PMI.
• Understanding of the technical architecture of business applications and platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers of varying expertise levels.
• Competence in conveying complex technical information to less-technical users.
• Skill in articulating in-depth business processes to technical resources.
• Ability to create complex process-flow diagrams or flowcharts.
• Aptitude for gathering and documenting requirements while confirming insights with Business Owners, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Capable of performing fit/gap analysis for medium to large project initiatives.
• Proficient in writing complex queries and reports.
• Ability to develop and manage multiple enterprise-wide project plans with defined deliverables and timelines.
• Skilled in providing guidance, mentoring, and daily support to junior personnel.
• Competence in conducting training sessions.
• Ability to create thorough and intricate documentation.
• Proficient in facilitating meetings, gathering information, and presenting status updates.
• Adaptability and sound judgment demonstrated.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
