This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver solutions that support existing production systems, utilizing judgment to investigate and resolve more complex user inquiries.
• Generate intricate ad hoc reports or queries that align with system functionality or user needs.
• Implement new business processes to facilitate system defect resolutions, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with support teams to ensure integrated system assistance.
• Supervise and mentor junior Business Systems Analysts on daily application and production challenges.
• Offer post-implementation support and document enhancements or bugs as necessary.
• Prepare, initiate, and lead customer training sessions as required.
• May oversee the maintenance and configuration of User tables.
• Document business requirements for medium to complex enhancements or defect fixes.
• Develop Test Plans and Test Cases following RH procedures.
• Communicate business requirements for medium to complex enhancements or defects to other BSAs or SWEs as needed.
• Conduct Unit/System Testing for medium to complex enhancements or defects; ensure test outcomes are recorded as Pass/Fail.
• May implement system/configuration changes for medium to complex enhancements or defects.
• Create system documentation and requirements in designing new simple to medium systems or enhancements.
• Generate functional and system requirements for medium-scale changes, potentially proposing screen layouts, validation criteria, and error messages.
• Evaluate upstream and downstream impacts of system alterations and coordinate with other departments/teams to ensure an integrated solution.
• Verify that proposed system solutions align with business processes, policies, and procedures.
• Document various solution options.
• Identify alternatives to address business challenges and suggest modifications to business processes and procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with the business development and QS teams to ensure solutions fulfill business requirements.
• Participate in or occasionally lead special projects.
• Work with technical resources to troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Ensure application systems meet user requirements, exercising independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving results on small to medium special assignments.
• Lead small to medium projects within the functional area.
• AA or certification degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a business functional area, including over 3 years of experience with Business Applications.
• Preferred experience in PeopleSoft HCM and/or Time and Labor.
• Preferred experience in ERP/SaaS for HCM/Payroll/Time or familiarity with multiple enterprise applications.
• PeopleSoft Upgrade Experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Experience with security administration.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Comprehensive SDLC experience.
• Experience with Java / .Net.
• Relevant business acumen.
• Functional experience with tools such as Visio and collaboration platforms (Talking, Video, Virtual Meetings).
• Working knowledge of enterprise-level applications.
• Capability to interact and communicate with customers of diverse expertise levels.
• Skill in conveying technical information to non-technical users.
• Ability to articulate business processes to technical resources.
• Proficiency in creating complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that illustrate business or system process flows.
• Competence in effectively gathering requirements, documenting them, and confirming findings with business owners.
• Ability to perform fit/gap analysis based on requirements.
• Skill in crafting detailed and comprehensive test plans for medium-sized initiatives.
• Ability to prioritize job responsibilities effectively.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of business systems software.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Proficiency in writing complex queries and reports.
• Capability to develop a project plan that meets established deliverables and timelines.
• Ability to execute tasks based on guidance from senior team members.
• Skill in providing mentorship to junior personnel.
• Competence in conducting training sessions.
• Ability to produce comprehensive documentation.
• Proficiency in organizing meetings, gathering information, and presenting updates.
