Business Systems Analyst – Airtable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business teams to identify operational challenges and document business requirements.

• Lead discovery sessions, process mapping workshops, and conduct stakeholder interviews.

• Evaluate current processes and suggest technology-driven enhancements.

• Generate business requirements documents, workflow diagrams, and solution designs.

• Design, construct, and sustain Airtable bases, tables, interfaces, automations, and dashboards.

• Create scalable data models utilizing linked records, lookups, rollups, formulas, and custom views.

• Configure Airtable Interfaces while managing user permissions, access controls, and governance standards.

• Develop and sustain Airtable automations to reduce manual processes.

• Integrate Airtable with other business systems using APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.

• Monitor automation performance and address workflow issues as they arise.

• Establish data standards and maintain data integrity across Airtable solutions.

• Produce reports, dashboards, and KPIs that deliver actionable business insights.

• Conduct data analysis and suggest process improvements based on observed trends and metrics.

• Act as the primary contact for Airtable inquiries and issue resolution.

• Develop user documentation, training resources, and operational procedures.

• Facilitate training sessions and support ongoing initiatives for user adoption.

• Engage in system enhancement projects, platform implementations, and testing, including UAT.

• Monitor project achievements, risks, and dependencies.

• Collaborate with multifunctional teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, process optimization, and advanced Airtable proficiency.

• Advanced expertise in Airtable, including Interfaces, Automations, and API integrations.

• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.

• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling principles.

• Experience in creating workflows, automations, and reporting solutions.

• Background in coding and implementing scripting software integrations in Airtable.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies, including project plan management and identifying risks and dependencies.

• Experience in change management and user adoption initiatives, including training.
