Business Strategy & Execution Lead – P&C Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp business objectives, operational priorities, financial targets, service expectations, interdependencies, and emerging requirements.

• Evaluate operational, financial, workflow, service, user experience, market, and performance-related challenges to uncover trends, issues, imbalances, friction points, risks, and opportunities for enhancement, as well as broader business prospects.

• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of business performance, portfolio results, workflow efficiency, service standards, workload distribution, and stakeholder/user feedback.

• Examine performance metrics related to producers, brokers, segments, platforms, processes, books of business, distribution relationships, operational models, and digital capabilities to assess effectiveness, profitability, adoption rates, and overall business impact.

• Formulate clear, actionable, data-driven recommendations aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, business effectiveness, user experience, service results, and profitability.

• Communicate findings, market insights, trade-offs, business implications, solution hypotheses, and recommendations in a clear and business-appropriate manner to facilitate decision-making and prioritization.

• Organize business priorities into initiatives and execution plans, leading coordination among cross-functional teams through all phases including initiation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support to ensure successful delivery and desired business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of 5 years of specialized experience.

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, strategic delivery, consulting, or similar roles; experience in P&C, Specialty, or Commercial Insurance is highly preferred.

• Proven experience overseeing and supporting the planning, analysis, execution, and implementation of business initiatives, operational enhancements, or technology-driven solutions aligned with strategic goals.

• Advanced knowledge of insurance workflows, systems, operational procedures, Property & Casualty insurance operations, products, and distribution models, including Specialty, Commercial, and Excess & Surplus Lines sectors.

• Documented experience in providing strategic business analysis, consultative problem-solving, business advisory support, and delivery coordination with business leaders and cross-functional collaborators.

• Strong familiarity with business analysis practices, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, user acceptance testing, implementation support, change management, stakeholder communication, and adoption planning is preferred.
