This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a specific product group and the related buyer personas; serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for ongoing sales opportunities and represent the appropriate product domain in multi-product endeavors.
• Collaborate with SDRs and AEs during initial discovery phases to validate opportunities and evaluate the alignment of systems, data flows, integration points, and non-functional requirements (e.g., security, scalability, accessibility) to support pursuit strategy.
• Transform functional requirements into practical solution designs and configuration options; lead product proofs of concept (POCs) to confirm solution fit and convert pipeline.
• Record MEDDPICC-aligned insights, particularly Metrics and Decision Criteria, in CRM within pursuit documentation.
• Deliver accurate and comprehensive responses to RFPs and RFIs that meet the needs of functional buyers.
• Act as the SKU configuration SME to verify quotes against the proposed solution and customer technical landscape.
• Create and present persona-specific demos, workshops, and proofs of concept that align product capabilities with buyer outcomes and Decision Criteria.
• Keep demo environments up-to-date with current data, reusable scripts, scenario assets, and runbooks to facilitate Sales progression.
• Prepare thorough post-sale handoff materials to guarantee smooth transitions to Services and Customer Success.
• Provide structured feedback to Product and Enablement teams about gaps, objections, and necessary content based on actual sales cycles to boost team effectiveness and performance.
• Travel frequently (60–75%), with weekly customer visits being typical.
• Practical knowledge of one K–12 technical domain (Student Information Systems and analytics, learning and engagement, or ERP and talent) and associated K–12 buyer personas.
• Understanding of K–12 district operations, funding models, and stakeholder priorities.
• Capable of co-leading customer demos and workshops and configuring common demo scenarios in real-time.
• Familiar with integrations and data flows (including APIs, rostering, SFTP, authentication, basic security controls) and able to identify potential risks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in using Salesforce or a similar CRM for notes, artifacts, and basic MEDDPICC documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills across multiple live pursuits.
• Over 4 years of experience in solution consulting, sales engineering, implementation, or a related K–12 SaaS position.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
