Managing Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the expansion of UASI’s services by assisting with business development and marketing efforts.

• Foster growth within current offerings by identifying new opportunities, collaborating with the Sales Team, and building trusted relationships with our clients through the use of subject matter expertise to showcase value.

• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and expertise in CDI Services, Utilization Review, Denials Management, Value-Based Care, and Risk Adjustment models, alongside a solid understanding of overall mid-revenue cycle operations and industry trends.

• Act as a subject matter expert to assist the sales team in establishing credibility with clients, developing proposals, defining the scope of work, and strategizing to enhance the growth of consulting engagements.

• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through various channels including webinars, marketing campaigns, white papers, and public speaking engagements.

• Ensure that client deliverables meet anticipated standards through proficient client and project management.

• Leverage strong communication skills to guide clients through project status meetings, influence key stakeholders, and ensure that project scope and deliverables remain on track.

• Collaborate closely with the project team to recognize and address client challenges, adjusting project workflow and direction to ensure alignment with client objectives.

• Apply critical thinking skills to synthesize client feedback, interpret complex data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

• Employ effective project management techniques to clearly outline client deliverables and set milestones through organized and strategic project planning.

• Mentor and train consulting staff by sharing knowledge related to project deliverables, client communication, project methodologies, data analysis, and trend evaluation, all within a collaborative and supportive framework.

• Contribute to strategic initiatives through the development of solutions and a keen understanding of market trends and industry drivers.

• Collaborate across service lines to identify and provide innovative solutions that add value for clients through the sharing of resources, knowledge, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• An active credential from AHIMA, AAPC, or ACDIS and/or RN or LPN is highly preferred.

• Strong subject matter expertise in CDI, Utilization Review, Denials Management, Value-Based Care, and Risk Adjustment models, along with a solid understanding of overall mid-revenue cycle operations and key industry trends/drivers.

• Capability to comprehend issues and articulate solutions in a simple and clear manner.

• Ability to synthesize large volumes of data and information, presenting a clear recommendation, rationale, and plan to the client.

• Proven foundational consulting skills, including analytical and critical thinking, alongside strong written and verbal communication, client presence, and presentation abilities.

• Strong project management skills, with experience in client management and business acumen.
