Professional Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee database deployments, encompassing design, configuration, migration, and integration.

• Perform architectural assessments and provide recommendations for applications and databases to ensure high availability and scalability.

• Execute database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and health checks to enhance reliability and efficiency.

• Serve as a trusted advisor in a client-facing, consultative role, offering guidance on scaling, architectural enhancements, and database best practices.

• Develop and present thorough technical documentation, project plans, and reports to ensure transparency and customer success.

• Mentor and instruct customers and internal teams on MySQL/MariaDB database features, tools, and best practices.

• Manage and maintain SQL databases and Linux environments with a hands-on approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience working with MySQL/MariaDB.

• Proven proficiency in end-to-end database migrations.

• Extensive experience in leading database deployments, including design, configuration, migration, and integration.

• Strong history of conducting architectural reviews and providing recommendations for high availability and database optimization.

• Demonstrated capability in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and health checks.

• Strong consultative and client-facing skills, with the ability to recommend and implement database best practices and scaling solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience in producing detailed technical documentation, project plans, and reports.

• Proven ability to mentor customers and internal teams on MySQL/MariaDB features and best practices.

• Hands-on experience in administering and maintaining SQL databases and Linux environments.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
