Business Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Convert customer needs into well-structured platform-level solutions, delivering PRDs, process flows, technical requirements, and domain models as key outputs.

• Examine and abstract jurisdictional differences in government client requirements.

• Assess the technical feasibility of proposed solutions in collaboration with Engineering leads.

• Establish platform abstractions and configuration methodologies.

• Guarantee that requirements documentation is thorough, traceable, and actionable.

• Interact directly with Product Managers and Business Analysts.

• Work alongside Product Owners to ensure BSA deliverables are accurately transformed into user stories.

• Partner with Engineering leads to evaluate and enhance solution designs.

• Engage in sprint reviews and planning ceremonies as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related area.

• Over 5 years of experience in business analysis, solution architecture, product management, or a similar field within a software product environment.

• Proven experience in generating structured requirements artifacts, including PRDs, process flows, use cases, and domain models.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile delivery methodologies, including the flow of requirements from strategy to implementation.

• Capability to analyze intricate, multi-stakeholder requirements and design scalable platform solutions that meet diverse client needs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and business requirements to engineering teams.

• Experience collaborating with government or regulated-industry clients, possessing knowledge of compliance-driven requirements environments.
