Business Operations Specialist – Website Migrations, French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate comprehensive website migration processes from current e-commerce platforms to Wix.

• Plan and manage migration activities to ensure minimal impact on business operations.

• Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide transparent status updates, gather requirements, and confirm key milestones.

• Extract inventory, customer, and transaction data from the source platform, ensuring proper file structure (CSV format) and data integrity.

• Import and verify data in Wix Catalog and Wix Contacts, confirming successful integration and addressing any data or formatting discrepancies.

• Investigate and rectify import/export issues by examining error reports and reprocessing data as necessary.

• Conduct post-migration checks, including data reconciliation, record count verification, and functionality testing within Wix and Moneris Total Commerce.

• Document and archive migration activities, maintaining thorough logs to support audit compliance.

• Collaborate with Moneris and Wix support teams to swiftly resolve escalated technical challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and French (spoken and written).

• Proven experience in migrating e-commerce websites from various platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace) to Wix.

• Solid understanding or hands-on experience with Wix tools and website configuration.

• Keen attention to detail and precision when handling data in CSV or comparable formats.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills for managing multiple client migrations.

• Capability to troubleshoot migration-related challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions efficiently.

• Familiarity with data import/export processes, validation, and reconciliation practices.

• Knowledge of secure data management and archiving standards.
