This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and CEO on financial planning, budgeting, and business operations to enhance visibility into company performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Develop models, dashboards, and KPI frameworks that facilitate decision-making across the organization, pinpointing opportunities, risks, and areas for enhancement.
• Assess build-vs-buy decisions through market research, financial analysis, and strategic evaluations, providing clear recommendations to leadership.
• Recognize operational bottlenecks and design scalable processes that allow the business to grow efficiently alongside technological advancements.
• Oversee complex, cross-functional special projects from inception to completion (e.g., assessing new market entry strategies, optimizing customer pipelines, or structuring vendor opportunities).
• Assume responsibility for the company’s most critical operational challenges, stepping in wherever the business requires support as we expand.
• 1-3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, business operations, finance, or other analytical/strategic roles.
• Proficient in Excel; financial modeling comes naturally to you.
• Comfortable creating dashboards and performing basic data analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities without oversight.
• Clear and concise written communicator; capable of producing well-organized reports or memos with minimal revisions.
• Thrives in uncertain situations; able to transform vague requests into completed work products with little guidance.
• High sense of ownership and humility: no task is too small if it contributes to the company’s progress.
• Proactive mindset: you act quickly, follow through, and prefer doing over waiting.
• Experience in a startup or early-stage company is advantageous.
