Business Operations Analyst – Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop, design, and implement standard operating procedures to facilitate business operations for Numerix SaaS clients.

• Conduct daily monitoring tasks and verify reports related to market and counterparty credit risk analytics (such as MTM, Greeks, PFE, CVA, FVA, VaR, etc.) for both front and middle office users.

• Oversee alerts regarding the success or failure of daily runs, batch processes, and market data feeds; assist in periodic intra-day assessments of the health of OneView applications, ancillary systems, processes, and data feeds to ensure operational integrity and compliance with SLAs.

• Aid in addressing daily inquiries related to operational support activities.

• Handle requests for technical support, application issues, and feed-related problems; assist in triage and resolution, escalating to appropriate teams when necessary.

• Contribute to incident management efforts as per the Numerix Incident Management policy, including monitoring alerts and supporting incident resolution.

• Assist in the deployment of OneView application updates in pre-production, which includes coordinating dress rehearsals and parallel runs.

• Support the management and upkeep of market data documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in Financial Services (internships or academic projects in treasury/front/middle office are advantageous).

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or a related field.

• Foundational knowledge of Market and Credit Risk (including VaR, XVA, Greeks, etc.).

• Basic understanding of market and counterparty credit risk concepts.

• Familiarity with AWS (e.g., Step Functions) is a plus.

• Strong eagerness to learn and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with guidance.

• Flexibility and a desire to grow in a changing environment.

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and taking ownership.

• Basic knowledge of Linux, scripting skills (preferably Python), and exposure to cloud environments is advantageous.
