Business Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Manage and supervise daily operational workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Real Wallet program, ensuring timely and accurate task completion.

• Carry out a range of manual operational duties, including report updates, data reconciliation across different systems, and overseeing data transfers to uphold system integrity.

• Serve as a primary contact for ensuring data consistency across various platforms, identifying discrepancies, and executing corrective measures as specified in SOPs.

• Assist in keeping program reports and dashboards current.

• Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal teams, such as product, engineering, finance, and support, to resolve operational challenges and facilitate smooth workflows.

• Proactively identify and escalate potential issues or opportunities for enhancement within current processes.

• Comfortable working collaboratively with a manager based in the USA, ensuring clear and timely communication across time zones and effectively aligning during overlapping working hours.

• Contribute to the documentation and enhancement of existing SOPs to boost clarity and efficiency.

• Investigate and implement automation scripts or tools to minimize manual effort for repetitive tasks over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as finance, business, engineering, or a quantitative discipline.

• 1-3 years of experience in a role heavily focused on operations, ideally within the financial services, fintech, or payments sectors.

• Strong expertise in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data analysis and manipulation.

• Experience with data entry and management across various systems.

• Basic understanding of scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, SQL) is advantageous and will be a significant growth area in this position.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, Metabase, Looker) and experience in creating dashboards or visual reports is a plus.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical teams, including leadership.

• A proactive approach and a problem-solving mindset.
