Business Intelligence Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You play a key role in enhancing our BI and reporting framework, ensuring that data is accurately prepared, effectively visualized, and operationally applicable.

• You collaborate closely with Finance, Management, and operational teams to bring clarity to complex data and reporting workflows.

• You create dashboards, KPI frameworks, and reports that facilitate genuine decision-making rather than merely presenting figures.

• You evaluate company data, uncover patterns, and formulate actionable recommendations.

• You recognize opportunities for automation and innovative AI-driven analysis and reporting solutions, contributing to more efficient and scalable processes.

• You focus on maintaining consistent data models, ensuring data quality, and establishing traceable reporting structures.

• You work in close partnership with Finance, Management, and operational sectors, translating their needs into effective BI and reporting solutions.

• Strong analytical thinking and a methodical approach to work.

• A keen interest in data-driven roles, BI, and contemporary analytical methodologies.

• Experience ranging from entry-level to several years in Business Intelligence, reporting, or data analysis.

• High proficiency in Excel and digital tools.

• A solid understanding of business and financial metrics and how they relate to one another.

• A self-motivated work ethic with a commitment to high-quality standards.

• Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI platforms.

• Basic knowledge of SQL or data modeling concepts.

• Enthusiasm for automation and AI-enhanced analytical processes.

• Educational background in Business Informatics (Information Systems), Finance, or Data Analytics.
