Business Intelligence Group Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and enhance the capabilities of a team of report writers, SQL developers, and BI specialists to achieve outstanding outcomes.

• Set priorities, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure that both client and internal projects are completed on schedule.

• Implement and oversee processes for quality assurance, documentation, and version control across all deliverables.

• Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the Information Delivery Group.

• Supervise the design, development, and deployment of customized financial and operational reports utilizing various tools, including Power BI.

• Lead the architectural strategy for data replication, SQL integration, multi-ERP data strategies, and data migration methodologies.

• Promote innovation in reporting through automation, data visualization, and advanced analytics.

• Act as the primary liaison for key stakeholders and client partners concerning information delivery requirements.

• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to team productivity, report accuracy, and client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in financial or business intelligence reporting, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Proven experience with Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, or similar ERP systems.

• Strong expertise in SQL, Crystal Reports, and Power BI (or equivalent BI tools).

• Solid understanding of GAAP and the fundamentals of financial reporting.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in client-facing settings.

• Capability to manage multiple ongoing projects and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

• Ability to function effectively in a remote work environment.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
