Insights Analyst – ROPS Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Drive Insightful Storytelling: Convert intricate data into engaging, actionable insights that address the reasons behind operational challenges and opportunities.

• Develop interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations that connect with end users, promoting self-service analytics throughout the organization.

• Engage & Understand: Establish trusted relationships with business partners across various functions such as collections and registration to map processes, document workflows, and pinpoint unmet reporting needs.

• Pose the right questions to reveal not only what data is required, but why it is necessary, aiding in the development of metrics that align with business objectives.

• Partner Across Teams: Work alongside Database Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, and Project Analysts to ensure dashboards are precise, timely, and impactful.

• Collaborate with Backend Analysts on data infrastructure requirements, facilitating the delivery of dependable, high-quality data.

• Champion Continuous Improvement: Collect and synthesize feedback to refine dashboard designs and reporting methods. Embrace experimentation and learning, viewing challenges as chances to innovate.

• Support, Document, and Train: Offer assistance to dashboard users, resolve issues, and document best practices. Contribute to user manuals and training sessions, enabling others to harness the power of data at DaVita Revenue Operations (ROPS).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven success in transforming data into business insights and actionable recommendations.

• Experience with dashboards and visualizations, preferably using Tableau or a comparable BI platform.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of understanding and narrating the story behind the data.

• Technical proficiency, comfortable handling data through SQL queries, Excel, or other relevant tools.

• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and partner engagement skills.

• A mindset geared towards learning and a commitment to continually enhancing your skills and knowledge.

• Advanced experience with Tableau, including design, calculations, and interactivity (preferred).

• Background in healthcare analytics or revenue cycle operations (preferred).

• Familiarity with SQL, ETL, data modeling, or contemporary data warehousing concepts (preferred).

• Experience in process improvement, change management, or agile project delivery (preferred).

• Proven experience in supporting or training business users in BI solutions (preferred).
