Business Intelligence Group Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of report writers, SQL developers, and BI specialists to achieve outstanding outcomes.

• Set priorities, manage resources, and guarantee the timely completion of both client and internal projects.

• Develop and oversee processes for quality assurance, documentation, and version control across all deliverables.

• Promote a culture of teamwork, responsibility, and ongoing learning within the Information Delivery Group.

• Supervise the design, development, and deployment of customized financial and operational reports utilizing various tools, including Power BI.

• Provide architectural guidance for data replication, SQL integration, multi-ERP data strategies, and approaches to data migration.

• Encourage innovation in reporting through automation, data visualization, and advanced analytics.

• Act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders and client partners regarding their information delivery requirements.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for team productivity, report accuracy, and client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in financial or business intelligence reporting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Demonstrated experience with Sage Intacct, Sage 300 CRE, or similar ERP systems.

• High proficiency in SQL, Crystal Reports, and Power BI (or equivalent BI tools).

• Knowledge of GAAP and the fundamentals of financial reporting.

• Proven ability to convert business requirements into technical reporting solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience in client-facing situations.

• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

• Ability to function effectively in a remote work environment.

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
