This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• The Business Intelligence & Analytics team is tasked with delivering business analytics data products and solutions tailored for internal stakeholders across various business units.
• Perform thorough analyses centered on essential business challenges, operational assessments, measurement, and instrumentation within an intellectually stimulating environment.
• Create reliable data models, scalable metrics, and self-service reporting tools that empower teams throughout the organization to make informed decisions.
• Define, design, construct, and assess key performance indicators (KPIs), performance metrics, and other reporting requirements as requested by internal stakeholders.
• Design and sustain scalable Power BI semantic models (star schema-based) featuring certified datasets and reusable measures that support governed self-service reporting.
• Oversee data quality, implement validation procedures, and proactively resolve anomalies or discrepancies.
• Independently manage comprehensive business intelligence projects, encompassing requirements gathering, data analysis, solution design, implementation, and delivery, with minimal supervision or guidance.
• Engage in cross-functional project teams, offering actionable insights and support to produce high-quality deliverables that endure over time.
• Adhere to best practices for collecting, analyzing, and generating insights to enhance business functions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business management, information systems, software engineering, or finance, with a preference for 3-5 years of professional experience; or a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Capability to simplify complex information into easily digestible reports, statements, and communications that provide insights, facilitating swift decision-making.
• Practical experience in business intelligence, reporting, and analytics, including the ability to create intricate algorithms, formulas, and calculations.
• Proficiency in building semantic models, measures, and reports in Power BI is essential.
• Experience in developing analytics solutions on Databricks (including SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization) is highly preferred.
• Skill in communicating and influencing diverse groups and levels within the organization while managing multiple stakeholder expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
