Business Intelligence Analytics Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and implement dashboards featuring KPIs, drill-through options, and impactful visualizations.

• Utilize statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics techniques to identify trends and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Employ SQL, Python, R, Jupyter Notebooks, BI platforms, and analytics engineering methodologies to produce reporting, automation, advanced analytics, and business insights.

• Integrate and transform data from Salesforce, Workday, AWS, and enterprise data warehouses into the Domo data warehouse using contemporary ETL practices.

• Spearhead analytics projects through requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, adoption, and continuous support.

• Convert complex business challenges into actionable analytics solutions.

• Suggest improvements in data architecture, data quality, and operational processes.

• Collaborate with business analysts, BI developers, data architects, and end users to achieve project goals.

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.

• Communicate project updates, risks, dependencies, and timelines while effectively managing stakeholder expectations.

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and development support to analysts, BI developers, and business partners.

• Advocate for self-service analytics, conduct user training, and enhance data literacy throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data warehousing, enterprise reporting solutions, or a related area.

• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to translate intricate business challenges into scalable analytics, reporting, and data solutions.

• Capability to lead analytics projects through the entire solution lifecycle.

• More than 5 years of experience with BI and visualization platforms such as Domo, Workday Prism Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects, or similar technologies.

• Strong expertise in SQL.

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and maintaining data models, ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration solutions.

• Proficiency in Python, R, Jupyter Notebooks, or comparable analytical programming tools for automation, advanced analytics, or data engineering is highly preferred.

• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory as a condition of employment.
