Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Construct and manage dependable data pipelines and models encompassing Salesforce, transaction, product, onboarding, renewal, pricing, and support data.

• Create and uphold a governed Client 360 view that integrates accounts, locations, products, commercial terms, adoption, and revenue performance.

• Define and document reliable metrics for GRR, NRR, churn, client health, time-to-value, and renewal risk.

• Develop automated client health scoring and renewal-risk indicators across the customer portfolio.

• Provide clear, actionable client insights within Salesforce for the Customer Success and Account Management teams.

• Prepare governed, high-quality datasets to facilitate AI and agentic workflows.

• Establish and oversee DataCandy’s customer data foundation.

• Centralize product, client, commercial, and lifecycle data in Databricks.

• Design scalable solutions, automate manual processes, and create data products that support business decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient SQL skills.

• Strong working knowledge of Python.

• Hands-on experience with PySpark and Databricks, including Delta, Jobs, and Workflows.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.

• Familiarity with version control, code review, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.

• Practical experience utilizing AI coding assistants and agentic workflows.

• Strong Excel abilities for ad hoc analysis and reporting.

• Excellent written English skills and the capacity to document technical work clearly.

• Willingness to operate under an Independent Contractor Agreement and take responsibility for personal taxes and benefits.

• Must currently reside in and be legally authorized to work in Indonesia or Vietnam.

• Openness to work during EST business hours.

• Willingness to purchase personal equipment upfront, with reimbursement available later.
