Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Analyze product and customer data to reveal insights that drive decision-making.

• Collaborate with various teams within the organization to address inquiries, understand their data requirements, and prioritize tasks.

• Develop dashboards and reports that empower the team to independently make informed choices.

• Utilize SQL to delve into data and interpret it effectively.

• Ensure our data remains accurate, reliable, and user-friendly.

• Maintain our data warehouse and pipelines to ensure smooth operations.

• Leverage tools (including AI) to enhance efficiency and uncover deeper insights.

• Foster a robust data culture by enhancing data accessibility and comprehension.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a BI, data analyst, or related position.

• Proficient SQL skills with a strong command of relational databases.

• Familiarity with BI/dashboard tools (e.g., Holistics, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase).

• Knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Experience in a cloud data warehouse environment (e.g., Snowflake is advantageous).

• A proactive, inquisitive individual with excellent communication skills capable of translating data for a non-technical audience.

• Experience utilizing AI tools to accelerate analysis and derive insights more quickly.
