Business Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee ETL processes — Assist in the development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ETL workflows.

• Collaborate with SQL & Data Extraction – Engage with various departments to comprehend data structures and schemas, then write and modify SQL queries and utilize other methods for data ingestion.

• Develop Dashboards & Reports – Utilize Domo to create user-friendly dashboards and visualizations that aid stakeholders in grasping key insights.

• Seek out insights – Under guidance, analyze data and trends to identify insights and outliers.

• Ensure Data Validation & Accuracy – Confirm that datasets are accurate, complete, and well-organized.

• Support the BI Platform – Assist in managing datasets, dashboards, cards, and user permissions. Help troubleshoot user-related issues.

• Document Processes – Maintain clear documentation for datasets, ETLs, and lessons learned to contribute to a knowledge base.

• Continuously enhance, refine, and learn – Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency while staying updated with best practices in Domo, data analytics, and BI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with a modern BI platform such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or a similar tool.

• Fundamental SQL knowledge (not overly complex—sufficient to extract data).

• Experience in creating charts and visualizations, effectively communicating complex data in an intuitive manner.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
